Message from Rabbi Jonathan Case

At any given time of year, you can be a witness to the magnificent colors blossoming all around us.  In our tradition we are told to utter a blessing whenever we see such glorious sights.  Every day we gaze about us, attentive to the miracle of life and nature, spiritually awakened and fully alive.

As a congregation we bring this sublime sense of awe into our sacred space, our congregation at Lake Chapala.  We sing with joy.  Pray with intent.  Most of all, we greet one another as befits an extended family.  Smiles grace faces as people enter our Sanctuary.  Warm clasps, embraces and deep concern for one another is the hallmark of Lake Chapala Jewish Congregation.  We celebrate holy days, share meals, learn together and support one another in joy and sorrow.
